Fusilier Roly Hermans' American Civil War Gallery Although he does not have a full American Civil War army, Fusilier Roly Hermans has painted the following 28mm Redoubt figures so that he can add them into games with armies belonging to other Fusiliers. He has had these units for a year or two, but has only recently taken these photos of them. You'll also find more information about these miniatures on Roly's Gettysburg website.
5th New York State Volunteers (Duryea's Zouaves) The first unit depicted here is the 5th New York State Volunteers (Duryea's Zouaves), sometimes nick-named the 'Red Devils" for obvious reasons. The flags are by GMB Design. Click on the photos to see them full

1st Maryland Regiment Roly has picked the 1st Maryland to represent the Confederate infantry of the Civil War. This unit is sold by Redoubt as a set depicting the charge of the 1st Maryland at the Battle of Gettysburg. Many of the figures are obviously based on Don Troiani's famous painting, 'Band of Brothers" (which you can see here to compare). Click on the photos to see them full

Major Pelham's Battery The last photographs show the first Civil War unit that Roly painted - Major Pelham's battery. This is a very nicely animated set by Redoubt. It shows the two Confederate guns being hauled into their final aiming position. You might recognize these guns from this review that Roly wrote a while ago. Click on the photos to see them full
