Introduction
Fusilier Paul Crouch shows us some of his magnificent
collection of figures representing the English Civil War, French and
Indian War, American War of Independence and the American Civil War.
New 30 January 2005 - Paul has recently been rebasing
his American Civil War figures, which are mainly made up of Redoubt
and Dixon miniatures. With his artillery in particular, he has
gone for two-gun bases so as to give them a "meatier" visual
effect.

Paul is presently workingon this fantastic Hudson and
Allen 25mm inn for his English Civil War games.
The next couple of photos show a unit that Paul painted
over six years ago, but is still very happy with. They are the Buffs
in the American War of Independence.
The photos in the first group below depict Fusilier Paul
Crouch's latest English Civil War troops. The two top pictures show
King Charles and his standard (the latter a lovely offering from GMB
Design). These figures were painted for Paul by Rex Hurley.
The other photos in this group show a particularly impressive
two-gun battery that Paul has recently finished painting. These are
mainly Redoubt figures, posed on a Hovels gun platform.
The overall effect is a magnificaent mini-diorama. Study the photos
to see some of the many details that Paul has incorporated into this
vignette.

NEW! 1 January 2004 - The next six photographs
in this gallery depict Paul Crouch's Blue Regiment and Red Regiment
London Trained Bands. The Blue Regiment figures are by Front Rank
and Essex, whilst the Red Regiment figures are Redoubt,
although if you look closely there are also two Renegade figures.
The flags are all by GMB.
The Red Regiment fought at the first battle of Newbury
in 1643 during the English Civil War. They were attacked a number of
the times by Prince Rupert's cavalry and stood their ground taking heavy
losses, thus making their mark on history.

The next photos show one of Paul's many American Civil
War units. The Iron Brigade consists of Dixon figures, and has
been recently had its flags replaced by GMB products.
