The Kapiti Fusilier Historic Gaming Club was established in 2003. We
are based in Paraparaumu, New Zealand, where we meet on the first Friday
of the month in Fusilier
Steve Sands' large wargaming room.
Our members are interested in many periods of wargaming, from ancients
through to modern, and everything in between. Despite our club's name,
some members even enjoy fantasy wargaming!
Our club sprang from an online YahooGroup,
and so we also have several "virtual" overseas members. They might not
be able to game with us, but still share the pleasure of the club's camaradie.
Here's a bit more information about how
this club and the YahooGroup came about.

Several members of what would later become the
Kapiti Fusiliers staged a beautiful AWI demo game at Call to Arms
in 2002. Here are Steve Sands, Roly Hermans and Paul Crouch (who
is discussing the game with an interested onlooker).
